Student Advisory Committee (SAC)

The START Gallery Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is a student group that meets at the START Gallery throughout the academic year to discuss ways to further the mission of the gallery through student involvement.

Qualifications

To be a part of the SAC you must be enrolled in undergraduate classes at Wake Forest University.

Responsibilities

SAC members are involved in a variety of gallery activities. Some of these activities may include: planning receptions and events, interfacing between the gallery and WFU student body, implementing marketing/PR initiatives, and contributing to the START Gallery blog.

Benefits

As a SAC member, you will have the opportunity to be engaged at START Gallery in a unique and practical way. You will have the chance to let your voice be heard and to play a role in affecting tangible change in gallery practices and programming. You will also get exposed to gallery management skills to which most undergraduate students do not have access.

To Become a SAC Member

You can either email us at startgal@wfu.edu and let us know that you would like to be involved, or come to one of the meetings at any time throughout the semester.
