Established in 1993, the John P. Anderson Collection of Student Art purchases student works as way to recognize the accomplishments of art majors and art honors at Wake Forest University. The collection includes works that are purchased at the annual student show at Charlotte and Phillip Hanes Gallery each spring. This year, there were 16 works by 15 different artists purchased for the collection. Works added to the collection this year include drawings, linoleum prints, photographs, paintings, videos, and sculptures. The artists in this year’s show are Sean Wilkinson (’15), Tia Sutton (’14), Julia DeNuzzio (’15), Brian Spadafora (’14), Katita Miller (’16), Emily Ortiz (’15), Kristi Chan (’15), Alissa Guarnaccia (’14), Brandon Rus (’14), Kovi Konowiecki (’14), Debbie Jennings, Greylon Gawaluck (’16), Elliote Kiel (’15), Kelsey Zalimeni (’14), and Maggie Pyle (’14).
